Rebecca A. Dunninger, DDS

Dr. Becky was born and raised in Lindenhurst, NY. She attended Suffolk County Community College for two years before transferring to Stony Brook University to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry in 2015. Dr. Becky returned to Stony Brook to attend Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.

Upon graduating dental school Dr. Becky went on to complete two residency programs, the first one being a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx providing comprehensive care for both children and adults. With her experiences in both dental school and residency, she realized her passion was to work with children and went on to pursue a residency in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Becky completed her second residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C, one of the top ranked children’s hospitals in the country. During her two years at Children’s National Hospital she gained extensive experience treating children with different special healthcare and dental needs.

Dr. Becky is a board-eligible pediatric dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also devoted to outreach and has volunteered to provide dental care on the local, national, and international level.

Dr. Becky is excited to be back home able to provide the best quality care for the Long Island community. In her free time she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and spending quality time with family and friends!
